Sadly, this year's planned GORGG in Monterrey, Mexico, has been cancelled due to insufficient attendance and other circumstances. We thank Jesús & Mina Tapia for their hosting efforts. An in-person GORGG is still being planned for next year in Gorenjska, Slovenia, to be hosted by Urban Kolbl and Matic Kejzar. "GorGGorovje 2020" has been postponed multiple times due to the pandemic - stay tuned here for official updates! Stay safe, stay healthy, and we hope to see you in Slovenia in 2024!
GORGG Purpose Statement | Obligatory Disclaimer
1.
To physically assemble and perennially celebrate lasting friendships,
and create new ones, each sharing a common love and admiration for thoughtful
music. |
3.
An enthusiastic attempt by hundreds of people to somehow try and recognise
a few people for doing what no one else has done, before or since. |
GORGG is NOT a Gentle Giant reunion! |
2. The spiritual and emotional bonding that arises from being a minority when the majority insists on the pejorative. |
4.
Oh and yeah, Gentle Giant should be mentioned in here too: We love you
guys and your music, thank you so much. |
|
"It's a sacred place; a bubble that we live in together until it fades and we're
fully back in the life we lived before GORGG."
